Workspaces for agents

Give your coding agent a running application.

Put the checkout, runtime, and supporting services in one dev workspace. Your agent can edit code and run tests while you preview the result in the app.

Persistent checkout

Read files. Make changes. Run tests.

Application services

Preview endpoints

Bring the agent you already use.

Use your own account and agent settings. Wodby provides the development environment; the agent works inside its checkout over SSH.

From a task to a change you can try.

  1. 1

    Prepare the workspace

Start from a compatible stack and Git source. Wodby prepares a persistent checkout and the services your application needs.

  2. 2

    Let the agent work

Connect over SSH, describe the task, and let the agent inspect code, edit files, and run checks using the workspace runtime.

  3. 3

    Preview, review, release

Check the app through its endpoints, review the diff, and push accepted changes through your normal Git and CI/CD workflow.

Keep work between sessions

Your code and private home survive normal restarts and pauses. Running processes do not. Resume the workspace and reconnect when you are ready to continue.

Work against the application stack

Use the selected runtime and supporting services without rebuilding them on every laptop. App services share the checkout; some reload edits automatically, while others need a restart.

Choose a workspace for development.

Compatibility

Create a new workspace with a supported stack and cluster. Code services use one replica without autoscaling, and scheduled jobs stay disabled.

Ownership

SSH and coding access belong to the workspace owner. Agents in one workspace share files and services, so coordinate work that could overlap.

Billing

Workspace services and storage follow Wodby billing. Persistent storage remains billable while paused. Codex and Claude Code use your own accounts and their separate billing.
