Billing explained

An app service is a single running service in your stack.

Every enabled non-paused service in your stack counts toward billing, including web servers, runtimes, databases, and background workers.

Example

Node.js + Redis + PostgreSQL = 3 billable app services.

Learn more about available services and how they fit into your stack architecture.

What is included

  • Developer plan is free for development purposes.
  • Paid plans include $30 of Wodby Cloud monthly.
  • Extra CI minutes and registry storage are billed separately.
  • Infrastructure costs from your cloud provider stay separate.

Add-ons

Extend the platform only where you need extra capacity.

Optional services follow the same model as the main plans: low-friction defaults, clear unit pricing, and no extra bundles.

Transparent costs

Stop overpaying for hidden PaaS infrastructure costs.

Wodby keeps its service pricing separate from compute, so you can see what you pay for the platform itself and what you pay for infrastructure capacity.

Transparent Wodby Cloud usage

Your Wodby bill separates platform usage from Wodby Cloud usage.

That makes app-service usage, add-ons, and Wodby Cloud capacity easier to understand and optimize over time.

Pause what you do not use

Coming soon

A paused app instance keeps its deployment setup and configuration, but app service charges stop and the compute resources it used are freed. When needed, you can unpause it quickly without redeploying or reconfiguring everything.

Optimize further with self-hosted Kubernetes

Run many apps on a powerful dedicated server with K3s underneath when cost efficiency matters more than managed cluster convenience.

Wodby Cloud

Hosted cluster capacity without bringing your own infrastructure.

Deploy to Wodby Cloud and pay-as-you-go in dollars when you do not want the cluster in your own cloud account or on your own server. Rates are based on machine presets, scalable cluster capacity, and persistent storage.

  • We moved our Drupal hosting to use Wodby and changed our development workflow to use Docker at the same time. Now we can concentrate on Drupal development and we're not losing time configuring servers etc. When a site needs additional resources or hosting in a different region we can be way more responsive as deploying a new instance takes no time at all.

  • Wodby’s innovative infrastructure helped us to increase the speed and simplify our app deployment, while also leaving us the freedom of handling our hosting and not locking us on a specific pattern. We are now much more robust for future growth and will be able to innovate faster.
